Behind a screen, puppeteers operate the puppets with long bamboo rods and string machinery under the water. Traditional Vietnamese orchestra music is played. North Vietnamese singers relate the narrative of the wooden puppets. The Vietnamese-only shows illustrate village life and are easy to understand. The colorful one-hour presentations celebrate a historic custom.
19.15 PM: Experience Saigon's nightlife and cruise the river for dinner. On a traditional boat, enjoy Vietnamese food and city views.
