Itinerary

DAY 1: HOA LU – TRANG AN – MUACAVE (L, D)

07:00–07:30 - Our guide will greet you at your accommodation and start 110km modern bus-journey through green countryside. Stop short.

 

10:30: Visit Hoa Lu Ancient Citadel featuring 17th-century Dinh King Temple and Le King Temple.

 

12:00 – Poolside buffet lunch at Trang An bungalow.

13:00 – Visit the Trang An Grottoes, a 20-square-kilometer limestone massif rising from rice paddy lands. Mystic valleys, freshwater ponds, and jungle exist deep in the linked chains of high mountains.

Take a traditional sampan down the beautiful river through Lam Cave, Vang Cave, Dai Cave, Thanh Truot Cave, Cao Son Temple, Suoi Tien Temple, and Vu Lam Temple.

15:30 – Visit Mua Cave and start a fantastic hike up to the top of Ngoa Long Mountain to see the stunning rice valley and wildlife.

17:00 Check into your homestay/bungalow and rest, read, or swim before dinner at 19:00, then enjoy the pool view bar at night. (Tour guide available next afternoon)

DAY 02: CUCPHUONG NATIONAL PARK – HANOI (B, L)

Breakfast bungalow. Relaxing, swimming, and waiting for tour guide and bus to Cuc Phuong National Park.

First, you'll encounter langurs and gibbons in their natural habitat at the Endangered Primate Rescue Center. Langurs and monkeys are rescued here. It's like their natural habitat. Lunch at a rainforest eatery is suggested by your guide. Jungle trek in the afternoon. If time allows, you'll visit the jungle's One-Thousand-Year-Old Tree and Prehistoric Man's Cave.

17:00 Return to Ha Ni by bus.

19:00 The journey ends at your Hanoi hotel.
