DAY 1: HANOI ARRIVAL

Welcome to Hanoi, the heart of Vietnam which is considered as a blend of traditional and modern beauties.  At Noi Bai Airport, your local guide and driver will welcome then take you to your hotel to check-in. Overnight in Hanoi.

DAY 2: HANOI  CITY TOUR (L)

08.00: After breakfast at the hotel, meet your guide and driver and take a full day city tour of Hanoi You will start with a visit to Ho Chi Minh Complex, there you can visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum where the corpse of our Uncle Ho is being kept. Keep touring the Presidential Palace - a nice French architecture in the garden and visit Ho Chi Minh House on stilts, One Pillar Pagoda. Then you will visit the Temple of Literature –Confucius temple and it was The first University of Vietnam. Experience on the local train.

Lunch at the local restaurant.

Experience a one-hour cyclo ride. Enjoy your day with egg coffee at the coffee shop. Finish your day off at the Thang Long Opera Theatre for a traditional Vietnamese water puppet show. You will have free time to go shopping or relax on your own. Back to your hotel.

DAY 3: HANOI – HALONG BAY – OVERNIGHT ON CRUISE (B/L/D)

08.30 AM: Our driver will pick you up at the hotel, departing 2.5 hours to Halong Bay – the World Natural Heritage recognized by UNESCO twice. Upon arrival, embark on the cruise and enjoy a welcome drink while having a tour briefing. A sumptuous lunch will be served on board while the ship sails further to the Bay, make your time to admire its dramatic limestone islands.

You can rest at your leisure on the sundeck or relax in your cabin. In the afternoon, you will have time to swim in the warm and calm water or get on the kayaks of your choice. Kayaking is very easy for all levels and ages to do. Our expert and experienced guide surely instruct you on basic paddling steps before leading you to explore the extraordinary beauty of Halong Bay. After 01 hour of exploring the bay, we will return to the cruise for relaxation before attending a Cooking class in the late afternoon.

Enjoy the superb dinner and stay overnight on board.

DAY 4: HALONG BAY – HANOI – FLIGHT TO HUE (B/BRUNCH)

We will continue our journey on Halong Bay in the early morning. A Tai Chi Class on the sun deck is a must that you should not miss when on the cruise.

Sitting on the upper deck; you can relax, sightseeing while taking photos of the magnificent beauty of the rocky islands rising from the emerald water of the bay.

After breakfast, we will explore Sung Sot cave - one of the finest and widest grottoes of Halong Bay. Next keep cruising and passing the fishing village with its unique way of life.

At 10.30 AM, our boat cruises back to the jetty, and you will enjoy the last moment in the bay before having a traditional Vietnamese lunch.

You leave the boat around 12:00 at noon, we go ashore and transfer to the Noibai airport for a flight to Hue.

Upon Hue city, you will pick up and then transfer to the hotel for check-in.

 DAY 5: HUE FULL DAY CITY TOUR (L)

08.30: Your tour guide will start you on the tour around to discover Hue. Waking up in the ancient land, you will board a dragon boat for a cruise on the romantic Perfume River.

The charming Lady Pagoda (Thien Mu Pagoda) will be the first stop. Setting in the convergence of rivers, you can have a great view of the Perfume River and surrounding areas. Drive to visit the tombs of King Minh Mang & King Khai Dinh

Lunch on your own.

This afternoon is dedicated to a tour in Hue City to discover the Imperial Citadel and the Forbidden Purple City - an amazing historic landmark in Hue - a definite must-see sight to learn more about the history and architecture that visitors should not miss when traveling to this peaceful land. After the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel. Free in the evening. Overnight in Hue.

DAY 6: HUE – HAI VAN PASS – HOI AN (L)

08.30: After breakfast, check out the hotel and depart for Hoi An, have a couple of stops on the way for photos. Drive over Hai Van pass, one of the most beautiful passes in Vietnam, take some photos of amazing views from the top. Then continue to Hoian ancient town, with stops at the Dragon Bridge and the so-called " China beach" in Danang
Arrive in Hoi An, check-in and free to stroll around the town.

DAY 7: HOI AN ECOTOUR – BASKET BOAT (L)

08.30: Your guide will meet you in your hotel lobby, then he will hop you on a cycling ride around Hoi An, ride towards Tra Que vegetable village – A very famous place of the farmers cultivating about 20 types of vegetables and herbs such as mint, lettuce, basil, cilantro, broccoli....

Walk around Tra Que vegetable village to see and interact with local people working in their gardens, cross vast rice fields in the countryside, which is far away from the tourist trails. You will also see many activities of the inhabitants through the villages out of Hoian. The local farmers will show you all about cultivation methods and help you learn how to protect vegetables from insects as well as join the farmers in preparing gardening activities such as raking the ground, sowing, watering, transplanting and tending the greens.

Continue riding through paddy fields, Ba Le market, kindergarten...to reach Van Lang fisherman village and Bay Mau coconut water forest - about 7 hectares, surrounded by mangrove forests, canals and houses. This place used to be a refuge for local people and VC soldiers during the Vietnam War. Nowadays, it is a famous place for seafood products. You will be warmly welcomed by a local family, taste some green tea and start to stroll around the village. Experience a basket boat row with the skillful locals and discover their techniques of traditional fishery in water coconut forest.

Back to the family for a foot massage with medicinal herbs, traditional therapeutic practice before getting ready to prepare your lunch with the local family

Lunch will feature many local delicacies, such as Tam Huu spring rolls, BanhXeo local pancakes, grilled fish in banana leaf and others.

After lunch, free time and take a short rest before returning to your hotel. Overnight in Hoi An.

DAY 8: HOI AN FREE DAY – FLIGHT TO HO CHI MINH CITY

After breakfast, take your free time to walk around to go shopping, admire the ancient architecture or relax at the beach.  About 02 hours before the flight, your guide and driver will come to your hotel and drive you to the airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City.  Welcome to Ho Chi Minh city, the most bustle and hustle city in the south of Vietnam. This is one of the must-visit first cities attracting international tourists. At Tan Son Nhat Airport, your local guide and driver will welcome then take you to your hotel to do check-in.  After relaxation, you can be free to discover the city. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

DAY 9: HO CHI MINH CITY TOUR – CU CHI TUNNEL (L)

08.30: After breakfast at the hotel, meet your guide at your hotel lobby. Take about one and half of hour drive, you will arrive in Cu Chi Tunnels where you will start discovery to enrich and experience a web-like tunnel system of more than 200km in length which used to be the shelters of guerrillas during the Vietnam war.

 Lunch on your own.

Drive back to HCM city, you will take a tour to discover the city by visiting the Reunification Hall, formerly known as the Presidential Palace. This fascinating building is filled with history and evidence of the former Saigon government. The tour also includes the War Remnants Museum, the Old Post Office and Ben Thanh Market. Drive back to your hotel and then you are free to relax.

DAY 10: HO CHI MINH – MEKONG DELTA – OVERNIGHT IN HOMESTAY IN VINH LONG (L/D)

07.30: After breakfast, your guide will take you on the trip to Cai Be pier (86km) from HCMC by car or van via Trung Luong Freeway.

On the arrival, you will start with a visit to Cai Be floating market. Then cruise to Tan Phong island for biking or walking on village paths to see the local daily life: orchards, school, church, pagoda, traditional houses. On the way, we can make some stops to see the locals making rice paper for spring rolls, sewing coconut leaves for cottage roofs and especially see how they wave the dried water hyacinth to make some products: baskets, bags, hats, wallets, shoes... Then, the rowboat will take you to go deeper into the countryside on smaller canals to enjoy a peaceful time.

Lunch is served in a local home.

Back to the boat to go across one of the longest rivers in the world, Mekong River, to come to An Binh Island.

Check in Ut Trinh homestay. Have a fresh shower before participating in cooking some with the members of the local family, enjoy dinner & overnight in the homestay.

DAY 11: EXPLORE  LOCAL VILLAGE IN MEKONG DELTA – CHAU DOC – TRA SU CONSERVATION (L/D)

Have breakfast and do check-out, go for a walk along the village to enjoy the fresh air in the morning, arrive at the local workshop to learn how to make rice paper, coconut candy, pop- rice... Enjoy some local specialties with a cup of hot tea.

Take a boat trip to visit the brick kilns where you can see how the local people create beautiful potteries from clay. Keep boating along the floating village, you will see how the fishermen farm catfish on the Mekong river. Also, we can visit Vinh Long market in the town. This is the best choice for you to take pictures of fish, shrimps, prawns, crabs, snakes, rice-field rats, tropical fruits, and vegetables….

Next, transfer to Chau Doc, on the way drive to Tra Su Conservation, board on an rowing-boat (depends on water level) or take a short walk (4km) to unveil the breath-taking scenery and the wildlife habitats of this sensational and unique Conservation. It is a-thousand-hectare mangroves forest surrounded by paddy fields!

DAY 12: CHAU DOC – SPEEDBOAT TO PHNOM PENH

06.30: Check out hotel and transfer to the pier.
07.30: Take the speedboat to Phnom Penh.
12.30: Arriving in Phnom Penh, your local guide and driver will pick you up for a transfer to the hotel for check in. Free at your leisure.

DAY 13: PHNOM PENH HALF DAY CITY TOUR – FLIGHT TO SIEM REAP (L)

08.00: Visit Wat Phnom, an ancient pagoda that stands on the hill, built by a wealthy Khmer woman named Penh in 1372 to keep the sacred relics, National Museum built in 1917-18 is exclusively dedicated to Khmer arts. There are many artifacts from the Pre-Angkor as well as Angkor Period on display. Continue to visit the Royal Palace built in 1866 and Silver Pagoda located within the Royal Palace compound, the majority of treasures on display have been supplied by the King of Cambodia such as a gift from various other countries.

Lunch on your own.

Then you will take the transfer to the Killing Field, Situated 17km from Phnom Penh town, Cheung Ek was famous since the movie “The Killing Fields” was made. Nowadays, a large memorial has been built to commemorate over 17,000 victims of Khmer Rouge leader, Pol Pot. The remnants inside the memorial and the mass graves that dot the area remind you of the suffering of the victims. This journey into Cambodia’s past will provide you a background on the cruelty of the Khmer Rouge regime. It will also give you an appreciation of the struggle that Cambodian people have faced and their tremendous courage to move on and rebuild their nation. Back to the city and walk around the Russian market built in 1937, a splendid architecture of colonial style.  Then you will take the flight from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap.

Arrive in Siem Reap, you will be picked up by your local guide and driver then take the transfer to the hotel for check-in. Stay overnight in Siem Reap.

DAY 14: EXPLORE THE ANGKOR TEMPLEX (L/D)

08.00 am: After breakfast, transfer to visit the picturesque Ta Prohm that had nearly disappeared into the jungle and remains overgrown, an oddly haunting and exotic scene. The magnificent roots of a tree, pushing between the huge stone blocks of the temple in a sort of embrace, evoke feelings that you may remember forever. 

Continue exploring the mysterious Royal City Angkor Thom City & Bayon. Its 54-tower temple is an awesome sight. At first glance, it seems a shapeless mass of stone, but further scrutiny reveals a face, and then another and another until suddenly you are engulfed by the silent, heavy, enigmatic and silent gaze through half-closed eyes, staring out from a primitive and remote time. Further, visit to the surroundings of the complex including the Baphoun, Elephant Terraces, Leper King Terrace and Royal Enclosure area and visit one more ruin in the Angkor Area of Preah Khan temple, built in 12th century by King Jayavarman VII and it is the same style to Ta Prom Temple.

After lunch on your own, you will visit the intricately carved Khmer ruins at Angkor Wat – one of the world’s most impressive ruins. The temple still owns fine Apsara carvings in Angkorian era art.

In the evening, you cannot afford to miss the chance to enjoy dinner with the traditional beautiful Apsara Dance. Starting by the movements with deftness and deliberation, the beautiful artists in the sophisticated silk-made tunic will get you amazed by the exquisiteness and enthusiasm with warm smiles. DAY 15: EXPLORE BENG MEALEA TEMPLE AND FLOAT COMMUNITY (L)

07.00 am pick up at hotel lobby.

Located 65km from Siem Reap, it is a pleasant 1.5 hour drive through the Cambodian countryside to reach the sprawling jungle temple of Beng Mealea. Constructed in a distinctly Angkor Wat style by King Suyavarman II in the early 12th century, Beng Mealea preceded and may have served as a prototype for Angkor Wat. Today the temple is largely overrun by vegetation and the stone walls are crumbling which adds to its charm in a unique way.

Continue one hour drive to the village of Kampong Khleang, one of the largest settlements on the Tonle Sap Lake. Living on water is an art the Khmer people have mastered over the course of time. Board a local boat to visit a floating house.

Lunch on your own.

Then you will observe the local customs and interact with the hosts about the differences that they have to face on the water. Return to Siem Reap. (It is advisable to wear sturdy, walking shoes with a decent grip).
