Itinerary

DAY 1: HANOI ARRIVAL

Upon the arrival at Hanoi airport, you will be met by our local guide and driver at the Noi Bai airport, then transferred to hotel. Take a rest.

DAY 2: HANOI FULL DAY CITY TOUR – NIGHT TRAIN TO SAPA (B/L)

At 8.00AM, our tour guide and driver will pick you up at the hotel for city tour. You will visit the followings:

  • Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, where his body is being embalmed, is your first stop. Keep walking to see the Presidential Palace, a nice French architecture in the garden, and Ho Chi Minh House on stilts, where you can learn about the simple life of Vietnam's first president, who is loved by most Vietnamese. Walk through the poetry fishpond to the One Pillar Pagoda, one of Hanoi's most popular attractions with its unique architecture.
  • Visit the Temple of Literature, Confucius Temple, and Vietnam's earliest university to learn about feudal education.
  • Take an interesting experience on local train from Gia lam station to Long Bien station. You will see how Vietnamese people taking the train and sometimes you will see the vendors selling breads and snacks, fruits on train.
  • Have lunch at local restaurant.
  • Visit Hoa Lo prision - Hanoi Hilton to experience Vietnam's battles and American pilots' prison life.
  • Drive back to Hanoi's Old Quarter and ride a cyclo around the 36 historic streets. Slow-speed tours allow you to fully appreciate the capital's historic and modern.
  • Enjoy water puppet show, the authentic show in Hanoi

Back to hotel for take a shower and a rest. After dinner, you are free at hotel until 21:00PM transfer back to Hanoi station and take the night train to Lao Cai.

DAY 3: LAO CAI – TRANSFER TO SAPA – Y LINH HO – LAO CHAI – TA VAN (B/L)

At 5:00-6:00AM: At Lao Cai train station, go to Sapa by a tourist-shared bus for one hour.

After breakfast, at 09:00AM, a local tour guide will pick you up to start your hiking tour. Y Linh Ho and Lao Chai are two of Sapa's most famous towns, and you'll hike to both of them on this tour.

  • Find relics from a different time, like cave homes and stone walls around the house.
  • Go to Ta Van Village, which is the original home of the Zay people, and spend some time immersed in their lively culture. It will be an unforgettable experience.
  • Have lunch at local restaurant.
  • Go back to Sapa, where you should stay for the rest of the day.

DAY 4: CAT CAT – SIN CHAI – HANOI (B/L)

  • Have breakfast at your hotel to start the day, At 08:00AM, Check out and visit Cat Cat and Sin Chai village. You will visit Cat Cat Village is in Muong Hoa Valley. There, you can buy H'mong arts, homemade corn wine, and clothes that have been colored with natural dyes. Walk down the road to get to a waterfalls.Go on walking to Sin Chai Village, a village of the Red Dao individuals at the foot of the Hoang Lien Son mountain range

Return to the main route to be transferred to Sapa town on a jeep for 3 km

15:00-15:30: The driver will pick you up to go back to the hotel in Hanoi. Free time at leisure for the rest of the day

DAY 5: FULL DAY – HOA LU- TAM COC (B/L)

At 8:00, our tour guide and driver will pick you up at the Sheraton Hanoi and take you to Ninh Binh.

9:30: We get to Mua Cave and start climbing over 500 stone steps to the top of the Mua mountains. Take in the fresh air and beautiful view at Tam Coc, which is a great place to take pictures.

12:00 Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

13:30 Visit the area of Vietnam's first capital city, Hoa Lu, to learn about its history and how it was built. Hoa Lu is the most important relic from Vietnam's past. Find out about the amazing and unique design of the temples of King Dinh and King Le, who both made important contributions to the old kingdom.

14:15 Take a boat trip from Tam Coc. This is a must-do thing to do in Ninh Binh and the best part of the trip. From the Tam Coc wharf, you can take a bamboo boat or a sampan through some beautiful grottos with amazing stalactites. The scenery is gorgeous.

16 o'clock: Get off the sampans, get in the car, and head back to Hanoi.

At 18:00, you'll be taken to your hotel.

DAY 6: HANOI – HALONG BAY OVERNIGHT ON CRUISE (B/L/D)

After breakfast, at 07:00AM you will be transfer to Halong

At 10:00AM, you arrive Halong bay and enjoy the scenic view from Seaplane for 25mins.

Transfer to cruise and get on the cruise.

12:45: Our support vessel will transport you from the wharf to Cruise. Welcome drinks, cool towels, and a special meal of fresh cuisine and tasty treats will be served. Luxury trash dining will enchant you. This is life's best! We then sailed to World's Most Beautiful Bay Lan Ha Bay.

15:30: We'll explore Lan Ha Bay's Dark and Bright cave. Photograph the lovely, lyrical local sights here. Tourists can enjoy bamboo boating or swimming to see Lan Ha Bay's limestone mountains and azure sky at their best. Visitors then swim at Lan Ha Bay's emerald sea or relax in Cruise's tiny pool with jacuzzi.

17:30: Cruises return. LanHa Bay sunset celebration. Lan Ha Bay sunsets are wonderful for photographers.

19:30: Have dinner on Cruise restaurant

21:00–00:00: Enjoy bay nightlife from the top deck. Enjoy music, a drink from the bar, classic flicks, and a cruise. You may fish squid with the sailors or rest on the balcony and watch the bay.

Cruise overnight.

Day 7: HALONG BAY – HANOI (B/BRUNCH)

6:30–7:30: Have breakfast.

8:00: Frog Pond, kayaking, or relaxing in Lan Ha Bay's four-season small pool.

Checkout: 9:30. After lunch, pay any extra fees at the reception and head to the dock. Please pay any front desk fees while traveling to the port.

11:15–11:30: Disembark and return to port.

11h30–11h45: Tuan Chau International Marina Station. Get on the car for transfer back to airport for flight to Danang. Upon arrival, you will be met and taken to hotel for check in.

Overnight in Hoian.

DAY 8: HOI AN ANCIENT TOWN AND FARMING AND FISHING ACTIVITIES (B/L)

08:00 Our guide will pick you up at your Hoi An hotel early in the morning and take you fishing with a local fisherman. You'll practice throwing nets into the river and catching fish alone. Continue to Bay Mau water coconut forest, a revolutionary base region of Hoi An, and fish field crab with unique gear in a basket boat. Visit Tra Que Vegetable Village, 3 kilometers from the ancient town, by bike and enjoy the calm landscape. A local family welcomes you with smiles and "E" water or local tea. Take a family cooking class to learn how to prepare ingredients and cook Hoi An specialties and enjoy lunch.

13:00 You will dress in Vietnamese farming attire, visit organic vegetable gardens, and learn traditional gardening techniques. Local farmers will show you how to prepare garden soil, fertilize green manure, plant veggies, and water them. After gardening, soak your feet with Vietnamese herbs at home. Return to your Hoi An hotel.

DAY 9: MY SON HOLLY LAND BY JEEP (B/L)

08:00 Meet your Jeep and guide at your hotel. We start our countryside jeep excursion at the crowded fish market on the outskirts of town for photos. The 50km drive to My Son passes stunning landscapes, small villages, and a bustling town and marketplaces. We drink Vietnamese coffee at an ancient Baynan Tree in Nam Phuoc.

09.00 We continue our jeep drive to My Son to the eerie sound of Cham music and stop to watch the colorfully clad dancers perform a traditional dance. A short jungle-lined rise starts your Cham ruins walk. The intriguing ruins appear at the summit. The Cham rulers were buried at the holy complex, which your guide will describe while you visit.

11.0 After exploring My Son, we go back to Hoi An to start our boat adventure.

12.00 We visit Thanh Ha ceramics village before boarding our boat. Earthen clothing made the town prosperous in the 16th and 17th century. It still makes Old Town bricks, tiles, and other earthen wear. After our tour, we head to Thanh Ha Pier to board your own boat for a scenic Thu Bon river cruise through Hoi An.

12.30 Enjoy lunch on boat.

14.00 We visit Tra Nhieu fishing village, Duy Hai fishing market, and Bay Mau coconut grove.

Tours offer several optional activities. Kayaks and bicycles are housed on board, so you can kayak on the river, paddle in a bamboo basket boat, or bike to Dong Binh Village to see local life.

DAY 10: HOIAN – TRANSFER TO HUE (B)

You'll be taken to Hue via Hai Van Pass at 08:00 or 13:30.The shuttle bus will stop at several places so people can see the sights and take pictures. The entry fee is not included. Upon Hue arrival, you will check in hotel. Free at leisure.

DAY 11: HUE FULL DAY CITY TOUR (B/L)

At 8:30, your tour guide will begin showing you around Hue. When you wake up in the old land, you'll get on a dragon boat for a romantic cruise on the Perfume River.

The first stop will be at the Thien Mu Pagoda, also called the Lady Pagoda. Set where two rivers meet, you can get a great view of the Perfume River and the area around it. Drive to King Minh Mang's and King Khai Dinh's tombs. 

Have lunch at local restaurant

Continue to see the Imperial Citadel and the Forbidden Purple City, both of which are important historical sites. The Imperial Citadel is an amazing historical landmark in Hue, and the Forbidden Purple City is a must-see place to learn more about the history and architecture of this peaceful country. You will be taken back to your hotel after the tour.

DAY 12: HUE – FLIGHT TO HO CHI MINH – HALF DAY CITY TOUR BY SCOOTER (B/D)

Have breakfast at hotel and free until transfer to the airport to take flight to Ho Chi Minh. Upon arrival, welcome and transfer to hotel for check in.

At 14:00pm, our guide and driver will come to hotel and pick you to visit Ho Chi Minh city by scooter.

You will visit Central Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral, Reunification Palace, and Ben Thanh Market. Driver to the cruise for dinner cruise on Saigon River.

Back to hotel. Relax at leisure.

DAY 13: HO CHI MINH – MEKONG DELTA –VINH LONG (B/L/D)

07.30: After breakfast, your guide will drive you 86 km from HCMC to Cai Be pier via Trung Luong Freeway in a car or van.

When you get there, your first stop will be the Cai Be floating market. Then, take a boat to Tan Phong island and ride a bike or walk along village roads to see how people live there: orchards, schools, churches, pagodas, and traditional houses. On the way, we can stop to watch people make rice paper for spring rolls, sew coconut leaves together to make roofs for cottages, and wave dried water hyacinth to make things like baskets, bags, hats, wallets, shoes, etc. The rowboat will then take you deeper into the countryside on smaller rivers, where you can enjoy some peace and quiet.

A private home serves lunch.

Back on the boat to cross the Mekong River, which is one of the largest rivers in the world, to get to An Binh Island.

Check into a hotel in Can Tho. Take a shower and then help cook dinner with the local family, eat dinner, and stay the night in the homestay.

DAY 14 MEKONG DELTA – HO CHI MINH CITY (B/L)

Have breakfast and check out. Take a walk through the town in the morning to enjoy the fresh air. Head to the local workshop to learn how to make rice paper, coconut candy, pop-rice, and other things. Have a cup of hot tea and some local favorites.

Take a boat ride to the brick kilns to see how people in the area make beautiful pottery out of clay. If you keep going by the floating village in a boat, you will see how fishermen raise catfish on the Mekong river. Also, we can go to the town's Vinh Long market. This is the best pick if you want to take pictures of fish, shrimp, prawns, crabs, snakes, rice-field rats, tropical fruits, and vegetables....

Lunch at local restaurant.

Transfer back to Ho Chi Minh.

DAY 15: HO CHI MINH – FLIGHT O PHU QUOC (B)

DAY 16: PHU QUOC FREE AND EASY (B)
