DAY 1: HANOI ARRIVAL

Upon the arrival at Hanoi airport, you will be met by our local guide and driver at the Noi Bai airport, then transferred to hotel. Take a rest.

DAY 2: HANOI CITY TOUR

At 8.00AM, our tour guide and driver will pick you up at the hotel for city tour. You will visit the followings:

  • Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, where his body is being embalmed, is your first stop. Keep walking to see the Presidential Palace, a nice French architecture in the garden, and Ho Chi Minh House on stilts, where you can learn about the simple life of Vietnam's first president, who is loved by most Vietnamese. Walk through the poetry fishpond to the One Pillar Pagoda, one of Hanoi's most popular attractions with its unique architecture.
  • Visit the Temple of Literature, Confucius Temple, and Vietnam's earliest university to learn about feudal education.
  • Take an interesting experience on local train from Gia lam station to Long Bien station. You will see how Vietnamese people taking the train and sometimes you will see the vendors selling breads and snacks, fruits on train.
  • Have lunch at local restaurant.
  • Visit Hoa Lo prision - Hanoi Hilton to experience Vietnam's battles and American pilots' prison life.
  • Drive back to Hanoi's Old Quarter and ride a cyclo around the 36 historic streets. Slow-speed tours allow you to fully appreciate the capital's historic and modern.
  • Enjoy water puppet show, the authentic show in Hanoi

DAY 3: HANOI – DUONG LAM VILLAGE (B/L)

Breakfast will be served at your hotel, and then our driver and guide will pick you up and take you to Duong Lam Ancient Village. This is Vietnam's first old village, and it's famous because it's where two Vietnamese kings were born: Phung Hung (761–802) and Ngo Quyen (896–944).

  • Go on a bike tour through small, old streets to visit Mong Phu Temple. As you ride around, you can see how Vietnamese farmers spend their days in the rice fields.
  • Visit two old houses and talk to the people who live there.
  • Eat lunch at a local place and try foods that are popular there.
  • Go to the temples of Ngo Quyen and Phung Hung, which honor two of Vietnam's best-known national heroes.
  • Next you will go to visit Mia Pagoda.
  • Drive back to your hotel in Hanoi.

DAY 4: HANOI – SAPA – CAT CAT VILLAGE (B/L)

  • Have breakfast at your hotel to start the day, At 07:00AM, Check out and take a transfer to Sapa, which usually takes between 5.5 and 6 hours.
  • Arrive in Sapa, where the mountainous rice terraces, steep valleys, beautiful mountain peaks, and old ethnic communities make for awe-inspiring scenery. Get to your hotel, check in, and then take it easy.
  • Have lunch at local restaurant.
  • At 15:00: You will visit Cat Cat Village is in Muong Hoa Valley. There, you can buy H'mong arts, homemade corn wine, and clothes that have been colored with natural dyes. Walk down the road to get to a waterfalls. After you've been taken to your hotel, Free at leisure at hotel.
  • You are free to walk around or stop at Sapa's popular night market.

DAY 5: SAPA – Y LINH HO – LAO CHAI – TA VAN VILLAGE (B/L)

  • After breakfast, at 08:00AM, a local tour guide will pick you up to start your hiking tour. Y Linh Ho and Lao Chai are two of Sapa's most famous towns, and you'll hike to both of them on this tour.
  • Find relics from a different time, like cave homes and stone walls around the house.
  • Go to Ta Van Village, which is the original home of the Zay people, and spend some time immersed in their lively culture. It will be an unforgettable experience.
  • Have lunch at local restaurant.
  • Go back to Sapa, where you should stay for the rest of the day.

DAY 6: SAPA – SUOI THAU – MA TRA – TA PHIN (B/L)

  • Have breakfast at your hotel
  • At 8:00, you'll be picked up and driven 5 km to the towns of Suoi Thau and Ma Tra.
  • Learn about the Hmong, a small group of people who live in your area, and tell them about your life.
  • After that, go on a 9-kilometer hike that takes you through towns and villages as well as rice and corn fields.
  • Have picnic lunch on the way.
  • Reach Ta Phin Village, where we can learn about how the red Dzao group lives and how they do things.
  • Take in the sights and sounds of nature around you before going back to Sapa.
  • 16:30: Take some time to relax

DAY 7: SAPA – HA GIANG PROVINCE (B/L/D)

  • Have your breakfast, and then check out.
  • You will be taken to Ha Giang by a shuttle bus driven by our guide. Ha Giang is near the border between Vietnam and China. It is home to 17 different ethnic minority groups. It's about 235 kilometers away, so it will take you close to seven hours to drive there.
  • When you arrive to Ha Giang, our guide will help you find your way to the hotel and check in.
  • Take a rest at hotel.

DAY 8: HA GIANG – DONG VAN (B/L/D)

Start your day with breakfast at your hotel. You'll be met up by our guide so you can keep seeing the sights of Ha Giang province as you drive.

  • Move down Bac Xum and you'll get to Fairy Bosom, a famous tourist spot in the Quan Ba region of Ha Giang. When you get there, look at the hills made of finely crushed limestone that give them their distinctive shapes.
  • Continue to Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark, which is a member of the UNESCO global geopark network and will amaze you with its beautiful natural scenery.
  • Go to Pao's house and King Meo's palace, which are well-known for their long histories and cultural explanations.
  • Have lunch at local restaurant.
  • Go to Dong Van market to see where people from different groups, like the Mong Hoa, Lo Hoa, Lolo, Choang, etc., meet.
  • Walk around the old town of Dong Van and watch how people live there. The town's peaceful atmosphere will make you surprised.

DAY 9: HA GIANG – CAO BANG (B/L/D)

After breakfast, you will check out hotel and start to the trip to Cao Bang province.

  • Take part in the Dong Van Kermess, which happens once a week in the middle of town as a place for entertainment, cross-cultural talk, and the exchange of goods. Going to Meo Vac over the Ma Pi Leng pass, which is one of the four highest passes along the Vietnam border.
  • Enjoy the view of the Nho Que River from a higher vantage point as you drive, and make sure to stop in the Meo Vac Village before having lunch at a place that locals have recommended.
  • Take a rowboat to along the peaceful Nho Que river.
  • Go to your hotel and relax until the end of the day.

DAY 10: CAO BANG – BA BE LAKE (B/L/D)

  • Have breakfast, then go to Cao Bang to see the Ban Gioc waterfall, one of the most majestic and beautiful places in the Northern hilly area.
  • Go sight-seeing and take gorgeous pictures of the beautiful waterfall. If you are lucky enough to visit Ban Gioc Waterfall between September and December, this is the best time to see how beautiful it is.
  • Go to "Tiger Cave" in Nguom Ngao, which has amazing rock forms and stalactites in different shapes.
  • Drive to Ba Be National Park and enjoy the peace of the park. Have dinner and stay the night at a homestay.

DAY 11: BA BE LAKE – HANOI (B/L)

  • Have breakfast at homestay and then walk to the Bo Lu boat stop and the rice fields.
  • Take a 3-hour boat ride around Ba Be Lake to enjoy the cool air and scenery. You can swim, or jump into the lake.
  • Have lunch at a local house before transfer back to Hanoi.

The rest of the day is free at leisure for you to gain back the energy for the next journey.

Day 12: HANOI – HALONG BAY OVERNIGHT ON CRUISE (B/L/D)

  • After breakfast, at 07:00AM you will be transfer to Halong

  • At 10:00AM, you arrive Halong bay and enjoy the scenic view from Seaplane for 25mins.

  • Transfer to cruise and get on the cruise.

  • 12:45: Our support vessel will transport you from the wharf to Cruise. Welcome drinks, cool towels, and a special meal of fresh cuisine and tasty treats will be served. Luxury trash dining will enchant you. This is life's best! We then sailed to World's Most Beautiful Bay Lan Ha Bay.

  • 15:30: We'll explore Lan Ha Bay's Dark and Bright cave. Photograph the lovely, lyrical local sights here. Tourists can enjoy bamboo boating or swimming to see Lan Ha Bay's limestone mountains and azure sky at their best. Visitors then swim at Lan Ha Bay's emerald sea or relax in Cruise's tiny pool with jacuzzi.

  • 17:30: Cruises return. LanHa Bay sunset celebration. Lan Ha Bay sunsets are wonderful for photographers.

  • 19:30: Have dinner on Cruise restaurant

  • 21:00–00:00: Enjoy bay nightlife from the top deck. Enjoy music, a drink from the bar, classic flicks, and a cruise. You may fish squid with the sailors or rest on the balcony and watch the bay.

    Cruise overnight.

Day 13: HALONG BAY – HANOI (B/BRUNCH)

  • 6:30–7:30: Have breakfast.

  • 8:00: Frog Pond, kayaking, or relaxing in Lan Ha Bay's four-season small pool.

  • Checkout: 9:30. After lunch, pay any extra fees at the reception and head to the dock. Please pay any front desk fees while traveling to the port.

  • 11:15–11:30: Disembark and return to port.

  • 11h30–11h45: Tuan Chau International Marina Station. Get on the car for transfer back to Hanoi.

  • Overnight in Hanoi.
