DANANG COOKING CLASS – TUY LOAN ORGANIC VILLAGE

At 8:00, our guide will pick you up at your hotel in Da Nang and take you to Tuy Loan village. Once there, we'll start touring the village on bicycles. Tuy Loan is a town that has been around for more than 500 years. It shows the history, customs, and ethnic identity of the Vietnamese.

10:00 Walking in the village of Tuy Loan Oranic - About 300 farmers live there and grow about 30 different kinds of veggies and herbs, such as mint, lettuce, basil, cilantro, broccoli, and many others. Farmers in Tuy Loan can sell 15 tons of vegetables every year because they have more than 80 hectares of land to grow them on. The people who grow vegetables don't use pesticides or GMOs. Instead, they use a seaweed that grows in a nearby river and is taken out every morning by boat.

The local farmers will show you how they grow crops and how to keep flies away from young plants. You will also do gardening tasks with the farmers, like raking the ground, planting seeds, watering greens, replanting greens, and taking care of greens.

13:00 Then you'll take a cooking class, and for lunch you'll eat a variety of Central Viet Nam specialties.
