This photo was provided by the eatery.Based on an examination of evaluations posted on the travel website Tripadvisor, two Hanoi establishments—The Rhythms and Cloud Nine—have been named two of the 25 best fine dining restaurants in all of Asia.
As part of the 2023 Travelers’ Choice ‘Best of the Best’ Restaurants Awards, Rhythms Restaurant was ranked number fifteen on the list.
The restaurant, which occupies the seventh story of the La Sinfona del Rey Hotel & Spa in the heart of Hanoi, offers a breathtaking panorama of Hoan Kiem Lake (Sword Lake) and the Old Quarter below.
According to one reviewer on Tripadvisor, “the restaurant concept is formed in harmony with the rhythms of the King’s Symphony, showcasing an orchestra of Vietnamese authentic cuisine embellished with the grandeur of royal ambiance.”
The menu features regional specialties from all across Vietnam, such as roasted chicken done in the way of the northwest, local spring rolls, and banana rolls with ice cream.
The cost of a meal is VND600,000 ($24.60) for each diner.
The La Siesta Premium Hotel’s Cloud Nine Restaurant on Hang Be Street came in at number 24.
The building’s color scheme of black, white, blue-gray, and cream is reminiscent of colonial French Indochina.
Hanoi’s signature dish, bun cha, combines rice vermicelli with grilled pork and a mixture of fish sauce, sugar, lime juice, garlic, and chili; it’s a staple throughout Vietnam. The restaurant also serves dishes from the north, center, and south of the country.
Prices range from VND595,000 for a lunch set to VND895,000 for a supper set.
The award winners were determined by compiling and analyzing millions of ratings and reviews submitted by travelers throughout the world over the past year.
Avartana in India and Akira Back in Thailand followed Ise Sueyoshi in Japan as the top fine dining restaurants in Asia.
